Popular Questions

There are three types of roof windows available:

  • Top hung roof windows are opened with a handle at the bottom letting in the maximum natural daylight and giving a lovely view of the skyline.
  • Centre pivot roof windows open from the top and (as the name suggests!) pivots at the centre of the window.
  • High pivot windows are the same style as a centre pivot, but there is less of the window inside the room meaning that taller individuals are able to move beneath it without the risk of hitting their head.

You can pay for any of our services by cash or bank transfer.

The Process

Interested in how we install roof windows? Discover our process below:

  • The roof’s angle is measured to determine window gradient and the correct window system for your home.
  • We check for any possible obstructions such as wires, pipes or vents that could hinder your roof window.
  • We then decide how to frame the window depending on your roof’s internal structure.
  • We install the window and the flashing set to weatherproof it.
  • Insulation is attached around the window, if required.
  • Any tiles removed are restored and your roof window is complete.
